Dorothy D. La Duca, nee Stice, 95, January 28, 2018, longtime resident of the southwest side of Chicago, of Clearing neighborhood, beloved wife of the late Joseph La Duca; devoted mother of Roberta (Alan) Reagan, Joseph William (Diana) La Duca, Lawrence (Janet) La Duca, and Patricia (Ted) Leland; loving grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of 2. Preceded in death by her parents, Will and Gracie May Barnett Stice, one sister, Pauline Pettigrew, and three brothers, Kenneth Stice, LaVoid Stice, and Autry Upton.
Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, and a recipient of the World War II Victory Ribbon and American Campaign Ribbon.
Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, on Thursday, Feb. 1, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors, Mt. Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney.
